About me
I love Jesus but
I use f*ck like a comma, my house is in a constant state of disarray, I move
from project to project with one never holding my attention for long (usually I
eventually circle back), I'm hella impulsive, my toddlers have been known to
wear the same socks a couple days in a row (for the love of all things holy
where the hell are all our socks?!?!), I love adventure and I will choose to
leave the house a mess and take the kids camping instead of staying home to
clean, without pause every single opportunity I get. You can take that bet to
Vegas, baby. While my husband loves that I push our family to explore and do,
it also drives him absolutely banana sandwich crazy. He is a pretty chill guy very clean, neat,
organized by nature; he’s the type of guy who sets a routine and wouldn’t
deviate in it day to day because that’s just how he operates. As I’ve made
clear that is pretty much the 100% opposite of how I roll so while he’s usually
down for my harebrained ideas, occasionally he hits his threshold and that can
end in epic fashion; which is actually pretty on par with the rest of our life
so… easy day. Generally, he and I are a
pretty solid team and provide our family with a great mix of chill and
adventure!
You can say many things about me and
define me by many words but boring is not one of them. I am excessively
excessive and it is my favorite thing about me. I live, I try new things, if I
don’t like something I work to change it, if I don’t agree I say so and if I find
my life becoming stagnant I kick out one of my own boundaries and throw myself
into something new. My plan is to meet my death late, thoroughly used up, a
little drunk and full of joy. Here is where I’ll document that journey, largely
for my failing memory but also as a time capsule for my family and hopefully
for the new friends we make on the way!
